Hannah Holland is a Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher and
certified Feng Shui Consultant. She has been teaching yoga since 2001 in a
variety of settings including: studios, elementary, middle & high schools,
corporate offices, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and private
residences. Based in tradition, her classes focus on the yoga techniques of
asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra. Through practice, students develop a fearlessness
for living vibrant, healthy, prosperous lives-right here and now.
Hannah was certified in Yoga at the Yoga Kingdom Sanctuary in Pasadena, CA in 2001. Since then she has studied with the Self Realization Fellowship (Kriyaban 2003), Los Angeles, the Vedic Healing Institute, Los Angeles, and the Himalayan Institute, Honesdale, PA, where she continues to train with Pandit Rajmani Tignuait, Ph. D. Hannah studied Feng Shui at the Golden Gate Feng Shui School in Oakland, CA under Master Feng Shui Practioners Ming Lui, Howard Choy, Alex Starke and the Quero Shaman of Peru.
Yoga crept into
Lynette’s life at the beginning of 2002. Her practice started when she
decided to immediately enter her first teacher training program at Yoga Kingdom
Sanctuary in Pasadena, CA. The graceful, fluid, physical movements of
Hatha Yoga, breathing and strengthening fit like a glove. She feels the
experience brought together her previous years of intense interest in spiritual
ideas and whole-living into a tangible form and Yoga continues to provide her
with a real tool to use to help deal with the everyday stresses and adventures
of being a mother, a wife and a human, as well as to make progress forward. She
has found that invariably, yoga can lead us to more and more tools and ways to
conduct our lives, and it is up to us to
choose/use the methods which help us to see our true inner light.
In the summer of 2008, Lynette pursued further study of yoga in her second training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts where she learned to integrate that style into her teaching from a place of true personal authenticity as well as build further confidence and focus. She is a practitioner of BioSonics© Tuning Forks, Dr. John Beaulieu, New York, a Vedic practitioner initiated through the Vedic Healing Institute, Los Angeles, and Director of Yoga for TAT/SAT Centers, USA and Europe. She has been teaching Yoga continually since 2003 to all levels of students, teens, and mothers.
Besides Hatha Yoga, she has found much comfort through singing kirtan with reknown teachers, in rituals for protecting the peace of the planet and all beings, experiencing the unconditional love of her teacher Mata Amritananadamayi, meditation, explorations in Kundalini Yoga, and music & vibrational sound healing.
The opportunity to bring Yoga into the lives of others is a blessing for Lynette, and it is an honor for her to continue her career in the field of service to them.
“I believe we each have our own paths to lead us on our journey, and they may or may not intersect with those closest to us. But may we find comfort in it, all together, for the benefit of every one of us!”
I realize status quo equals spiritual death and the challenges in my life were opportunities for me to dance the dance of life. Here is my story:
I remember the moment when my soul yearned for freedom. I was driving home from work, right after graduating from C.S.U.N. with a B.A. in Accounting in 1993. I was close to tears, hitting the steering wheel of my car thinking, “When was I going to finally have the strength to be who I was?” All my life I felt like I was jumping through these hoops to show everyone how great I was, but I never felt this validation from myself. Little did I know that this was my soul yearning to be free and happy.
