Meditation is a technique that reintroduces us to ourselves by training the mind to let go of its disturbing thoughts and become aware of itself. It is a journey from pain and sorrow, to a life infused with joy and tranquility. The ancient yogis called this state of reality vishoka, and insisted that we all have the capacity to reach it. The key is a precise set of meditative techniques designed to unite the breath and mind and turn them inward, allowing us to nourish and rejuvenate ourselves on every level of our being. Vishoka Meditation is specifically designed to reclaim this inner joy and to train the mind to remain clear, focused and joyful in all of life’s circumstances. 

Grounded in the authentic teachings of Buddha, Patanjali and others, Vishoka Meditation is a method of meditation steeped in the wisdom of the Himalayan masters, passed down and gifted to the world by teachers of the Himalayan Institute. It is the perfect complement to an existing yoga practice or a powerful stand alone mediation practice, and is accessible to everyone.
